Chris Lucas

Chris Lucas is a Senior Project Manager at CDM Smith, serving since January 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Principal Planner at NV5 from October 2016 to December 2023 and as Principal Planner at The RBA Group from September 2008 to October 2016, which was acquired by NV5. Additional experience includes project management at the New York City Department of Transportation and senior planning at the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority. Chris has also worked as a Post-Katrina Recovery Planner with HUD/Acorn Housing and a Transportation Associate at Project for Public Spaces. Early career roles include GIS Technician at the New York City Economic Development Corporation and Graduate Fellow at the Pratt Center for Community Development. Chris holds a Master of Science in City and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Rutgers University.
