Doug Huneycutt

Doug Huneycutt has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of transportation and engineering. Doug has held various roles throughout their career, including Project Manager/Client Service Lead at CDM Smith, Transportation Services Manager - Texas at Neel-Schaffer, Inc., Director of Transportation Delivery Services - Central Texas and Senior Project Manager at Jacobs, Project Delivery Manager at Raba Kistner Infrastructure, Chief Operating Officer at Apia Engineering Consulting LLC, and Manager - North Texas Region at KBR, Inc.

At Jacobs Engineering, they served as the Director of Engineering and Senior Transportation Principal. Doug was responsible for project management, client interaction, staffing, and technical project development. Doug also worked at the Texas Department of Transportation as the Director of Transportation Planning & Development, Waco District, and as an Area Engineer in Hunt and Raines counties. In these positions, they oversaw various aspects of project development, including planning, design, construction, and maintenance.

Throughout their career, Doug has demonstrated their expertise in delivering transportation projects, identifying and securing critical expertise, anticipating industry trends, and overseeing budgets and resources. Doug Huneycutt attended Texas Tech University from 1977 to 1983, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Additionally, during their time at the university, they also studied Architecture and earned a Bachelor's degree in the field.
