Ernest Ashley, PG, has extensive experience in the field of geology and hazardous waste management, currently serving as Vice President and Remedial Investigations Discipline Leader at CDM Smith since November 1992, where management of industrial hazardous waste site investigations and remediation is a primary focus. Prior experience includes roles as Project Manager and Office Manager at ICF Kaiser Engineers, Inc., and Project Geologist at GEI Consultants, Inc., where responsibilities involved property transfer and hazardous waste site investigations. Earlier in his career, Ernest held positions as a Petroleum Geologist at Cotton Petroleum Corp. and as a Field Geologist at the U.S. Geological Survey. Ernest holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Hazardous Materials Management from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
