Fatima Abdelwahd

Fatima Abdelwahd is an experienced engineer with a focus on water resources and civil engineering. Fatima currently works at CDM Smith as a Water Resources Engineer IV and Team Lead since July 2023. Prior to that, they were a Civil Water Engineer III at North Wind Group from February 2022 to July 2023. From February 2018 to February 2022, Fatima worked at Stantec as an Engineering Project Specialist. Fatima started their career as a CAD Specialist Intern at Global Syndicate LLC from May 2015 to August 2015, where they created detailed CAD renderings for various projects.

Fatima Abdelwahd has a strong educational background in environmental and environmental health engineering. Fatima obtained their Bachelor of Science degree (BS) in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from Michigan State University, where they studied from 2010 to 2015. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree (MS) in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from Drexel University. Fatima attended Drexel University from 2015 to 2017.

In addition to their academic achievements, Fatima has also obtained several certifications. In 2015, they became an Advanced Open Water Diver and an Enriched Air Diver through the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI). Furthermore, in 2019, they obtained the Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certification from the Association of State Floodplain Managers, Inc. (ASFPM). Most recently, in 2022, they passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam administered by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
