Wesley Oehmig

Wesley Oehmig, PE, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the field of environmental engineering, currently serving as the Southeast Drinking Water Discipline Leader at CDM Smith since October 2025, where responsibilities include piloting, design, and construction services for drinking water facilities. Prior to this role, Wesley was the Area Drinking Water Practice Lead at HDR, overseeing business development, project management, and technical quality control for drinking water applications from February 2018 to October 2025. With a solid background in project management and water treatment process development, Wesley has experience coordinating large-scale water and wastewater design projects and has contributed to several technical areas, including drinking water treatment and mining water treatment. Educational qualifications include a PhD and Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering, both from the University of Florida, complemented by a Bachelor's of Science from the same institution and an Associate of Arts from Santa Fe College.
