Alessandro Scortecci

Alessandro Scortecci is the Chief Investment Officer of Direct Investments at CDP Venture Capital SGRA, overseeing venture capital investments since September 2020. Previously, Alessandro served as the Head of Strategy & Business Development at CDP Venture Capital, contributing to the startup-phase of Italy's largest VC-focused asset management company by launching multiple funds and raising over €400M from private limited partners. Prior to this, Alessandro held various positions at Boston Consulting Group, including Partner, Principal, and Project Leader, where expertise in value creation and investment strategies was demonstrated. Early career experience includes roles at Lloyds Banking Group as Chief of Staff, and at Opera Solutions as Senior Associate and Associate. Alessandro holds an MBA from INSEAD and an MEng from Cornell University.
