David Filkins

David Filkins has a diverse work experience in communications and writing. David started their career as a Staff Writer at Times Union in 2004 and worked there until 2009. David then joined Tully Rinckey PLLC as a Business Development Writer from June 2010 to January 2011. After that, they worked as a Public Relations Specialist at Ed Lewi Associates from January 2011 to April 2016. From April 2016 to June 2021, they worked at CDPHP as a Communications Specialist before being promoted to Senior Communications Specialist from June 2021 to June 2023. Currently, they are working as the Chief Writer and Creative Lead at CDPHP.

David Filkins attended Hudson Valley Community College from 1999 to 2002, where they completed their Associate of Arts (AA) degree in General Studies. David then went on to enroll at the University at Albany, SUNY from 2002 to 2004, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy.
