Thomas Lavier

Thomas Lavier has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Thomas currently works at CDPQ Infra as the Main Director, Legal Affairs for the REM Project, where they manage legal matters related to the execution of the project. Prior to this role, they held the position of Director, Legal Affairs for the REM Project, where they focused on building the legal architecture of the project.

Before joining CDPQ Infra, Thomas worked at McCarthy Tétrault as a Lawyer in Infrastructure, Energy, and Business Law. In this role, they specialized in the rules governing public tender processes and the awarding of public contracts. Thomas also drafted RFQ, RFP documents, and project agreements for PPP projects.

Thomas has also gained experience as Legal Counsel at Kruger Inc., where they worked in the company's Legal Affairs department. Additionally, they worked at Stikeman Elliott LLP as a Lawyer in Infrastructure, Energy, Real Estate, and Business Law. During their time there, they focused on real estate and administrative law, and was involved in various P3 projects and wind farm projects.

Furthermore, Thomas served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Réseaux des arts médiatiques / Akousma / Akousma Festival and gained experience as an Intern at the Fondation Jean-Charles Bonenfant, Assemblée Nationale (Québec).
