Christina Friedenthal serves as the Director of Corporate Services at CDS Co-operatives, where responsibilities include ensuring effective management and governance across diverse strategic areas such as health and safety, IT, human resources, and risk management. Previously, Christina held various leadership roles at Notting Hill Housing Group, including Regional Head of Housing and Operations Manager, overseeing substantial budgets and teams while implementing impactful service improvements and operational strategies. With a foundation in social work management and administration from the University of Washington, as well as a degree in sociology from UCLA, Christina has extensive experience managing resident services and driving community-focused initiatives in social housing settings.

CDS is a charitable community benefit society and registered social landlord. Our mission is to make co-op and community led housing mainstream, so that more people can shape the things that matter to them at home, in their neighbourhood or community. We provide, support and promote a range of social, co-operative and community led housing. We directly own around 900 social rented and low cost home ownership homes throughout the South East of England and we aim to work in a collaborative and empowering way with our residents. We are the largest co-op management services agency in our region, working with more than 35 housing co-ops to provide a range of landlord and business support services so that our clients and their members can thrive whilst remaining fully independent. We also invest some of our surplus each year in promoting growth and innovation in the sector so that more CLH homes can be created.
