Vinay Madan is an accomplished risk management professional with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as Chief Risk Officer at CDSL India since August 2021, Vinay previously held the role of Chief Risk Officer at Sharekhan by BNP Paribas from June 2016 to July 2021, after serving as Head of Risk ORC and Chief of Internal Vigilance. Prior experience includes a Vice President position at Barclays, managing Risk & Controls along with various roles focused on Risk Governance and Control Environment. Vinay's career began in audit at N.M. Raiji & Co., followed by significant roles at KPMG India and American Express. Vinay holds a Chartered Accountant designation from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, a B.Com (H) from Delhi University, and has recently completed an executive education program in AI for Leaders at NUS Business School.
