Donald Montrose

Director, Global Program Management at CDTi

Donald Montrose has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Donald first worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Catalytic Solutions, Inc. from July 2004 to May 2005. Donald then became a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer from May 2005 to January 2006, and eventually served as a Production Manager from October 2005 to May 2008.

Afterwards, Donald took on the role of Cost Accounting Manager at Catalytic Solutions, Inc. from May 2008 to October 2008. Donald successfully overhauled the cost accounting system, reducing month-end close time from 15 days to 2 days and implementing a real-time reporting system for operational cost data.

From October 2008 to October 2009, Donald served as the Customer Program Manager, being responsible for coordinating supply chain, forecasting, operations, and quality to meet customer requirements.

Donald then took on the role of Director, Operations at Catalytic Solutions, Inc. from October 2009 to December 2010. In this role, they had P&L responsibility for a coating operation worth approximately $25 million. Donald directed operations, IT, account management, and supply chain functions and implemented strategic planning, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing practices.

Following that, Donald joined Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. as the Director, Global Program Management in December 2010. Donald co-led the implementation of ISO 9001:2008 at the UK Facility, which was a key requirement for participation in the London Low Emission Zone. Donald achieved full certification within 28 days of beginning work.

Lastly, in September 2011, Donald took on the role of General Manager at Catalytic Solutions, Inc.

Donald Montrose attended Whatcom Community College from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Transfer. Following this, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Washington from 2002 to 2004.
