Keti Popiashvili serves as the Coordinator of International R&D Projects and Project Manager at CDV - Transport Research Centre since January 2020. Prior experience includes roles as R&D Branch Manager at GEOtest, a.s. from July 2015 to May 2017, and Project Manager for Structural Funds at Masaryk University from September 2009 to June 2015. Keti holds an MSc in Environmental Sciences and Policy from the Central European University, accredited by the University of Manchester, obtained between 1999 and 2000. Additionally, Keti completed a program in Simultaneous Translation at the Institute of Foreign Languages in Tbilisi from 1994 to 1996 and earned a Master's degree in Social and Economic Geography at Iv. Javakhishvili State University in Tbilisi, Georgia from 1989 to 1994.

CDV - Transport Research Centre

CDV - Transport Research Centre is the only scientific research public institution under the Czech Ministry of Transport. CDV was established in 1992 on the base of the Czech parts of former federal Transport Research Institute (est. 1954). With its research focus, CDV covers key needs of transport development in the Czech Republic at national, regional and local levels. CDV deals with key fields such as road safety, technology of construction, maintenance, repairs and reconstruction of transport infrastructure, including geotechnical aspects and diagnostics of transport structures. Furthermore, it deals with impacts of transport and its infrastructure on the environment, transport economics, multimodal transport, traffic psychology, traffic education, transport demand modelling, management systems, geographic information systems, check-in and parking systems and telematic systems. CDV focuses on smart mobility and new technologies such as autonomous systems, hyperloop and other challenges of transport for the future.
