Peter R. Locy

Peter Locy is vice president, controller and chief accounting officer for CDW. He is responsible for leading a team of professionals across the accounting processes, partner finance, financial systems, consolidations, SEC financial reporting, management financial reporting, and technical accounting.

Prior to joining CDW in 2022, Locy served as senior vice president, corporate controller at Kemper Insurance where he led a team of professionals across accounting, consolidations, and SEC reporting. Earlier in his career, Locy served in progressively senior roles across KPMG, CNA Financial Corporation and Allianz Global Risks US Insurance company. He is a seasoned finance leader known for his focus on talent, coaching and development skills, forward-thinking approach, and process improvement orientation.

Locy earned a master of accountancy and bachelor of business administration in accountancy from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He is a chartered financial analyst (CFA) and certified public accountant (inactive).
