Sondes Bannour Souihi

Sondes Bannour Souihi, PhD, is an accomplished NLP/ML R&D Engineer with extensive experience in the field. Currently employed at CEA since December 2020, Sondes has previously worked as a Freelance NLP/ML Consultant for TEXpecT and served as an NLP/ML Project Manager and R&D PhD Engineer at GEOLSemantics, focusing on information extraction from legal texts and social media. Earlier roles included work at LIPN-UMR CNRS 7030, where Sondes contributed to several NLP projects, including the development of a concordancer and various linguistic processing algorithms, while achieving recognition in the Bacteria Biotope Challenge BioNLP-ST 2013. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science, with a focus on NLP and ML from Université Sorbonne Paris Nord, a Master’s degree in Software Engineering and Decision Support Systems, and an engineering degree in Computer Science from ENSI.
