Sharath Velumani is a seasoned professional in the tire industry with over a decade of experience. Currently serving as Senior Manager - Technology at CEAT Limited since January 2019, Sharath heads Uniformity & Balancing for PCR/MCR and upcoming TBR while playing key roles in product and process industrialization. Prior to this, Sharath worked at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, focusing on new product industrialization across Asia Pacific, and contributed to the development of tires for major automotive clients. Earlier experience at Apollo Tyres Ltd. involved managing technology and engineering for tire uniformity and building machinery. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Rubber Technology from the Indian Rubber Institute.
