Richard "Rick" Loritsch, PMP, CSM has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Richard "Rick" currently holds the position of Information Technology Application Manager at CEB - Continuing Education of the Bar, where they began in November 2021.
Prior to this, Richard worked as a Project Manager at Point B from April 2021 to October 2021.
In their role as Shared Application Services Manager at Avery Dennison from October 2018 to July 2020, Richard managed the Digital Innovation Lab, developed the Agile Deployment Process, and acted as an innovation advocate.
From January 2017 to June 2018, Richard worked as a Consultant at RGP, where they worked on multiple projects for a public research university, including risk investigation and documentation, roadmap creation, and partnership building between IT and business leaders.
Before that, Richard served as the Senior Director of Information Technology at the Motion Picture Association of America from September 2014 to August 2016. In this role, they managed a small team and oversaw 55 applications and websites.
Richard also has experience as a Consultant in the Information Management Practice at Resources Global Professionals from November 2012 to September 2014. Richard "Rick" led a major operating system upgrade project for a manufacturing company, partnering with various teams to achieve project goals.
In addition, Richard served as the VP of Engineering at ColorPower (formerly Zome Energy Networks), where they led the creation of the Engineering and Project Manager Office and contributed to product and functional specifications.
Richard worked at Bank of America as the Senior Vice President of Application Development from July 2008 to November 2011, overseeing application development and management. Richard "Rick" also held the role of Executive Vice President of Enterprise Risk Assessment Technology from August 2002 to July 2008, directing the development and support of applications for Enterprise Risk Assessment.
Earlier in their career, Richard was the Director of Database Technology at HealthAllies from May 2000 to August 2002, managing database design and operations. Richard "Rick" also served as the Vice President of Application Development at Countrywide from July 1996 to April 2000, leading database and application development efforts.
Throughout their career, Richard has demonstrated proficiency in project management, process development, risk assessment, application development, and leadership.
Richard "Rick" Loritsch, PMP, CSM has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Physics from UCLA. Richard "Rick" also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of California, Riverside. In addition to their academic accomplishments, Rick has obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from The Project Management Institute (PMI) in August 2014. Furthermore, they are also a Certified Scrum Master, having obtained this certification from the Scrum Alliance in December 2016.
