Rajesh Rajendran

Rajesh Rajendran has extensive work experience in the field of civil engineering, particularly in the construction of metro rail projects. Rajesh began their career in 2007 as a Civil Engineer at IVRCL Infrastructures and Projects Ltd, where they were responsible for various tasks such as concrete mix design and monitoring stone column installation. Rajesh then moved on to work at Balaji Railroad Systems (BARSYL) as a Viaduct and Station Engineer, where they monitored contractor quality management systems and inspected various site work activities for the Chennai Metro Rail Project Phase 1.

In 2012, Rajesh joined Larsen & Toubro Ltd as a QA/QC Engineer for the Delhi Metro Rail Project. In this role, they were responsible for inspecting underground metro station civil works and ensuring material testing conducted as per approved ITP.

Rajesh later worked at Parsons as a Civil QA/QC Engineer for the Riyadh Metro Rail Project, where they reviewed contractor submissions, contract documents, and conducted regular inspections to monitor the progress of contractor work.

Rajesh also gained experience working on the Qatar Metro Rail Project as a Civil-QC Engineer at ALYSJ JV and on the Chennai Metro Rail Project Phase 1 as a Civil Engineer for Chennai Metro Rail Limited.

Most recently, Rajesh worked as a QA/QC Engineer and QMS Lead Auditor at Cebarco, where they were involved in the construction of the Marassi Galleria Mall & Car Park. This project included the construction of a retail mall, multiplex cinema, aquarium, ice rink, and other feature zones.

Rajesh Rajendran completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Civil Engineering from SRM University in the period of 2009-2012. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications including a Diploma in Quality Control and ISO 9000 from All India Institute of Management Studies, as well as a Diploma in Total Quality Management from the same institution. Rajesh further completed a Diploma in Civil Engineering from Chengalvaraya Naicker Polytechnic (CNPT) - Chennai in 2004-2007. Rajesh Rajendran also possesses various certifications, including IOSH Working Safely from The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), IRCA Approved Lead Auditor in ISO 9001, Quality Management System from the International Register of Certificated Auditors, Non Destructive Testing and Training on Concrete Structures from SIS, a corporate partner of the American Society of Non Destructive Testing, and Internal Auditor Training on ISO 9001, Quality Management System from DET NORSKE VERITAS (DNV).
