Dr. Ing. Cristian Rebegea

Dr. Cristian REBEGEA currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and IT&C Infrastructure Director at CEC Bank since December 2023. Prior to this role, REBEGEA held various director positions at BRD - Groupe Societe Generale from February 2007 to December 2023, overseeing the Technical Support Division and Security Operations Center, as well as managing IT operations and change initiatives across diverse business and infrastructure applications. REBEGEA has a strong background in IT infrastructure, system administration, and project management, with notable achievements including the implementation of significant projects such as Internet Banking and Mobile Banking. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Economic Sciences and Finance, a Master’s in Project Management from SNSPA, and completion of the Oxford Cyber Security for Business Leaders Programme.
