Matt Gramza has extensive work experience in the engineering and water resources field. Matt began their career as an Engineering Co-op at Butler County Engineers Office from 1992 to 1995. Matt then worked as a Construction Engineer at Burgess & Niple from 1996 to 2000. Following that, they served as a Telecommunications Project Manager at Wirenet, Inc. from 2000 to 2003. Since 2004, Matt has been with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., where they started as a Project Manager and quickly advanced to the role of Principal - Water Resources Practice Lead. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President - Corporate Water Resources Lead.
Matt Gramza completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati from 1991 to 1996. Matt also participated in the LEAD Clermont program at the University of Cincinnati in 2009. Matt has obtained various certifications including Diplomate, Water Resources Engineer (D.WRE) from the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers (AAWRE) in 2023. Matt is also a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) and a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC). Additionally, Matt is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states including Ohio, West Virginia, South Carolina, Minnesota, and Kentucky.
