Michael Yacyshyn

Michael Yacyshyn has extensive work experience in the field of civil and environmental engineering. Michael currently holds the position of Sr. Principal Engineer at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. which they started in November 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Geo-Logic Associates as the Principal Engineer and Northern California Regional Manager from July 2015 to November 2020.

Before that, Michael held the position of Waste & Recycling Market Sector Director at Brown and Caldwell from January 2012 to June 2015. Michael was responsible for leading the Waste Management Sector in the US and also served as BC's national Geotechnical Risk Expert. Michael'sresponsibilities included sales team leadership, key client management, direct sales, technical oversight, and project management.

From July 2008 to January 2012, Michael worked as the Solid Waste Division Manager, West Region at Shaw Environmental & Infrastructure Group. Prior to that, they held various roles at Bryan A. Stirrat & Associates, Golder Associates, CH2M HILL, Geosyntec Consultants, Kleinfelder, and GKN Hayward Baker, all of which contributed to their extensive expertise and knowledge in the field.

Michael Yacyshyn holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, which they obtained from 1976 to 1979. Michael later pursued a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley from 1980 to 1981.
