The China Electronics Chamber of Commerce (CECC) was established in 1988 and is registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China. It is an industry-based social organization voluntarily composed of units, groups, and industry organizations engaged in the production and operation of electronic information products, with independent legal person status. The supreme authority of the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce is the Members' Representative Assembly and the General Council. Through its own 8 major systems, 9 platforms, 10 departments, as well as 35 professional committees and industry alliances, and 21 local electronics chambers of commerce, the CECC provides daily services and business support to more than 13,000 members.
CECC is an important member of the World Electronics Forum (WEF) and maintains close cooperation and good business relations with electronic chambers of commerce, associations, and government-related institutions in various countries, such as the U.S. Electronic Industries Alliance, the U.S. Consumer Technology Association, the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association, the Korea Electronics Industry Promotion Association, the Japan Communication Sales Association, the U.S. Department of Commerce, the International Trade Center, and the German Investment and Trade Agency.
Cross-Border E-Commerce Committee
The Cross-Border E-Commerce Committee (Cross-Border Committee) is one of the branches of the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce. Under the management and guidance of the CECC, it operates independently and is the only professional committee in the field of cross-border e-commerce and digital trade within the chamber. Since its establishment in April 2016, the Cross-Border Committee has been based in Shanghai and has been engaged in promoting the development of cross-border e-commerce business in various cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zones across the country.
