Steve Hess

Steve Hess came to Ceco in 1986 with nine years of experience in construction safety supervision. Since then, he’s held numerous safety supervision positions with Ceco leading up to his current role as Vice President of Safety & Training Services for the Heico construction companies—of which Ceco is one. Steve’s uncompromising approach to safety supervision affirms Ceco’s commitment to sending each and every employee home safely after every shift.

When he’s not making sure everyone is safe on the job, Steve stays involved with ASCC and ANSI and several church charities. “I really enjoy visiting jobsites and talking with employees,” explains Steve. “My favorite project memory was assisting our crews in the off-loading of aluminum trusses from a barge on the Chicago River.”
