Maaike Smit is an experienced Human Resources professional with a strong background in advisory and project-driven roles. Currently serving as a Human Resources Business Partner at CED Europe since January 2020, Maaike focuses on various HR topics and provides strategic advice to management. Prior to this, Maaike worked at Randstad Groep Nederland from January 2015 to December 2019 in multiple capacities, including HR-businesspartner, where responsibilities included advising on workforce transitions and HR policies. Earlier experience at Randstad Nederland involved senior roles in HR reward and analytics, and labor relations, contributing to the development of employee benefits and performance management systems. Maaike's academic background includes a Master's degree in European Studies from the University of Amsterdam, along with studies at Universidad de Alcalá and Clinton Community College.
