Derrick Sherer, PMP

Derrick Sherer, PMP has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Derrick began their career in 1999 as a Network Analyst II at Sprint, where they were responsible for executing day to day operations of the Network Operations Control Center. In 2005, they moved to Alamosa PCS as a Network Engineer II, where they were responsible for preliminary engineering of network design and optimization of existing CDMA networks. In 2006, Derrick returned to Sprint Nextel as a Network Planner II, where they were responsible for improving customer satisfaction and reducing churn by maintaining grade of service. In 2009, they joined Ericsson as a Network Planner II, where they were responsible for improving customer satisfaction and reducing churn. From 2012 to 2020, Derrick worked at LCC - A Tech Mahindra Company as a Program Manager, where they managed large-scale client programs focused on business growth, technology advancement and quality services. In 2020, they joined CED Systems as a Program Manager / Field Operations Manager, where they managed large-scale client programs and supervised up to 15 personnel per engagement.

Derrick Sherer, PMP has an education history that includes a Bachelor's degree in Business from Baker University, which they obtained between 1999 and 2002. Derrick also attended Centriq Training in 2011 to become an IT Network Administrator. Derrick has also attended Missouri University of Science and Technology. In addition to their education history, Derrick Sherer, PMP has obtained several certifications, including a Quick Base App Builder certification in 2019 and 2021, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2021, an A+ certification, a MCTIP: Windows Server Administration certification, a MCTS: Configuring Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure certification, a MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuring certification, and a Security+ certification.
