Ben Gursansky currently serves as the Head of Rural and Regional Affairs at Telstra and is a Trustee for the Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA). Gursansky has significant experience in policy and government relations, having held key roles such as General Manager of Policy, Industry and Government at Murray Goulburn and as a Policy Adviser to The Hon Simon Crean MP in the Australian Government. Gursansky's career also includes positions at organizations like Saputo Dairy Australia and Catalyst Consulting, as well as academic roles with a strong educational background, including a PhD from the University of New England and an MBA from Melbourne Business School. Prior to current roles, Gursansky took a sabbatical to focus on family and community involvement.
