Brad Kurtz

Brad Kurtz has a diverse work experience in the funeral industry. Brad started their career as a Student Funeral Assistant at Cumberland Chapels Funeral Home in 2004. In 2005, they joined Cedar Memorial Funeral Home as a Funeral Director, where they were responsible for handling final disposition arrangements and providing support to grieving family members. In 2016, Brad took on the role of Waukee Location Manager at Iowa Cremation. Most recently, they became the Director of Sales and Marketing at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home in March 2019.

Brad Kurtz attended Kirkwood Community College from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Biology. Following this, they enrolled in Worsham College of Mortuary Science from 2004 to 2005 and earned an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Mortuary Science. In September 2006, Brad obtained their Funeral Directors License from the Iowa Department of Public Health. Later, in November 2012, they became a Certified Preplanning Consultant through the National Funeral Directors Association.
