Jacob Schulmeister has over 25 years of experience in IT support and systems administration. Currently serving as a Senior Systems Administrator for the City of Cedar Rapids since January 2008, Jacob has contributed to the maintenance and availability of server systems across various city departments. Previous positions include roles such as Network Analyst I, Systems Administrator, and Network Technician, demonstrating a strong background in network management and desktop support. Prior experience includes desktop support roles at Rockwell Collins and John Deere, where responsibilities encompassed troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining critical systems, and implementing new technologies. Jacob holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Hawkeye Community College.
