Taylor Pierson

Taylor Pierson is a dedicated educator with a robust background in teaching and leadership within various educational settings. Currently serving as a Middle School Science Teacher at Cedar Springs Public Schools since August 2019, Taylor also holds the position of Lead Teacher at the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids, where the role commenced in 2016. Previous experience includes a Student Teacher role at Grand Rapids Public Schools, a Teacher Assistant position at Comstock Park Public Schools, and an Extension Educator role at Allendale Public Schools. Taylor's foundational experiences include hospitality at Sentinel Pointe Retirement Community and wildlife education and engagement with youth at Grace Adventures. Educational qualifications consist of a degree in Elementary Education with a focus on Integrated Sciences from Grand Valley State University, earned between 2014 and 2018, alongside a solid academic background from Forest Hills Central.
