Blake Mathias

Blake Mathias is an experienced academic and entrepreneur, currently serving as an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business since May 2018. In addition to academic roles, Blake co-owns Cedarhurst Senior Living and has held the position of President at The Home Center since 2012. Previous academic appointments include Assistant Professor of Strategy & Entrepreneurship at Louisiana State University from December 2014 to May 2018. Blake's entrepreneurial experience also includes co-owning Cedarhurst Senior Living and Villas of Hollybrook, alongside financial roles at Brunswick Boat Group and Mercury Marine. Blake holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organizations & Strategy with a focus on Entrepreneurship from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a B.A. in Finance, Speech Communications, and History from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
