Francine Lopez-Ekong

Francine Lopez-Ekong has extensive work experience in revenue cycle analysis and management. Francine started their career in 2003 at Kaiser Permanente, where they worked as a Coding Compliance Manager and Senior Practice Leader in revenue integrity and coding. Francine later became a Revenue Integrity Coder Trainer Audit Lead. In 2011, they joined Altegra Health as a Senior Manager in Revenue Cycle. From 2014 to 2019, Francine worked at Kaiser Permanente again, this time as a Senior Consultant and Senior Manager Consultant. In 2020, they joined Cedars-Sinai as the Manager of Revenue Integrity before being promoted to Managing Team Lead of Revenue Cycle Analysts, where they oversee the revenue auditing team and leads process improvement initiatives.

Francine Lopez-Ekong, CCS, CPC is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at Southern New Hampshire University. Additionally, they hold certifications in CCS from AHIMA and CPC from AAPC.
