Frankie Tran

Frankie Tran has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In 1997, they started their career at C&D Zodiac, where they worked as a Project Engineer until 2007. From 2002 to 2012, Frankie held the role of Business/Reporting Analyst at C&D Zodiac, where their responsibilities included translating data into functional reports and OLAP models/cubes. Additionally, they were involved in projects such as automated Balance Sheet reporting and corporate budgeting.

In 2000, Frankie had an internship at Sun Microsystems as a Market Development Intern. During this time, they worked closely with users to define requirements for staging/data warehouse databases and reports. Frankie also served as the primary liaison between users and developers, translating their requests into programming specifications. Furthermore, Frankie was involved in data modeling and design.

From 2012 to 2019, Frankie worked at Cedars-Sinai as a Senior Database Analyst and later as the Lead Enterprise Data Warehouse Analyst. In these roles, they collaborated with users to define requirements for staging/data warehouse databases and reports. Frankie also served as a liaison between users and developers, translating requests into programming specifications. Alongside this, Frankie was responsible for data modeling and design.

In 2019, Frankie joined Providence St. Joseph Health, Southern California as a Senior IT Specialist and later took on the role of Business Intelligence & Analytics Lead starting in November 2020. Their work included leading business intelligence and analytics projects within the organization.

Frankie's most recent position, starting in February 2022, is as the Lead Enterprise Data Warehouse Analyst at Cedars-Sinai.

Frankie Tran earned an MBA in IT Management from the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business from 1999 to 2001. Frankie also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA, which they completed from 1989 to 1994. Additionally, Frankie has obtained multiple certifications in various areas, including data science and Epic Clarity Data Model from Epic.
