Itai Danovitch

Itai Danovitch serves as the Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences and Director of Addiction Psychiatry at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, with roles that include Associate Director of the Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship since July 2008. Currently, Itai is a member of the Board of Directors for the American Society of Addiction Medicine and Bexson Biomedical. Itai also holds the position of Commissioner at the Mental Health Services Oversight & Accountability Commission until July 2024 and previously served on the Board of Directors for Science 37 and as President of the California Society of Addiction Medicine. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from UCLA Anderson School of Management, a Doctor of Medicine from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of California, Berkeley.
