Ivan Shin is a highly experienced fundraising professional with a robust background in advancement and philanthropy. Currently serving as the Director of Principal Gifts at Cedars-Sinai since September 2025, Ivan previously held significant leadership roles at The Lundquist Institute for Biomedical Innovation, where responsibilities included developing comprehensive philanthropic strategies, and at Centenary Institute, focusing on philanthropy and communications. With earlier positions at UNSW, Caltech, UC San Diego, and the University of Pennsylvania, Ivan has demonstrated expertise in managing large teams, strategic campaign planning, and cultivating donor relationships. Ivan holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from Duke University and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley.
