Bruce Upchurch

Bruce Upchurch has a diverse work experience in security and law enforcement. Bruce is currently serving as the Director of Campus Security at Cedarville University since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Captain at the Cedarville Police Department from April 2019 to May 2021. Bruce also has experience as a Medical Administrator at Medcor from October 2018 to April 2019. Bruce started their career in 1991 as a Patrol Sergeant at the Greene County Sheriff's Office and later served as a Police Officer/Fireman/EMT at Oakwood Public Safety from July 2007 to October 2018.

Bruce Upchurch attended Faith Baptist Bible College from 1987 to 1988, where they studied General subjects. From 1988 to 1991, they attended Cedarville University, focusing on Criminal Justice. Most recently, from 2017 to 2020, Bruce was enrolled at Liberty University, studying Criminal Justice with a specialization in Business Administration and Management.
