Mark Caleb Smith

Mark Caleb Smith serves as the Dean of Arts & Humanities and Professor of Political Science at Cedarville University since August 2004. In this role, Mark teaches courses focused on Constitutional Law, American Political Thought, and American Government, while also conducting research in religion and politics. Prior to Cedarville University, Mark held the positions of Chair of the Department of History & Government and Visiting Professor of Political Science at Calvin College and Tulane University, respectively. Mark earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science and Government from The University of Georgia, a Master of Arts in the History of Christianity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Bryan College.
