Micah Cooper

Micah Cooper has extensive work experience in the field of technology and information systems. Micah currently holds the position of Associate Vice President for Technology and Chief Information Officer at Cedarville University since May 2017. Prior to this, they worked at Miami University in various roles, including Director of End User Services Improvements, Director of Campus Technology Services, and Interim Sr. Director of Academic & Institutional Technical Services. Micah also served as Director of Advanced Technology Partnerships at Miami University. Micah's earlier experience includes the role of Director of Information Technology at the School of Engineering & Applied Science at Miami University. Micah started their career as a Network System Administrator and later worked as a Network & System Support Specialist in the same institution. Overall, Micah has a diverse background in technology leadership and has held various positions in both academic and institutional settings.

Micah Cooper completed their education at Miami University, earning a B.A. degree from 1993 to 1997 and an MBA degree in Management Information Systems from 2003 to 2005. Micah also obtained additional certifications including ITIL v3 (2011) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control from ISACA in January 2011.
