Rafael Ribeiro

Director of the Graduate Program in Economics

Rafael Ribeiro is a Professor of Economics and the Director of the Graduate School of Economics at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in Brazil. In addition to teaching Econometrics, Development Economics, and Comparative Political Economy, Rafael conducts research focused on monetary and fiscal policy, inequality, and economic underdevelopment. Rafael also collaborates with the Research Centre on Macroeconomics of Inequality at the Universidade de São Paulo and serves as an associate member at the Cambridge Centre for Economic and Public Policy in the UK. Rafael holds a Ph.D. in Development Economics and International Trade from the University of Cambridge and has previously worked as a postdoctoral fellow and in various internships.
