Sekhar Prabhakar

Sekhar Prabhakar is the CEO and Founder of CEdge Software Consultants. Sekhar has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry and has held various positions during their career.

Prabhakar started their career as a software engineer at Sybase Inc in 1994. Sekhar then moved to Sun Microsystems Inc in 1996 where they worked as a senior member of the technical staff for five years. In 2001, they left Sun Microsystems to start their own company, Sejal Business Solutions.

After a two-year break, Prabhakar joined US BANK in 2002 as an applications consultant and infrastructure project lead. Sekhar worked at US BANK for just over a year before leaving to start CEdge Software Consultants in 2003.

CEdge Software Consultants is a leading provider of software development and consulting services. The company has over 250 employees and offices in the United States, Canada, and India.

Sekhar Prabhakar has a Masters in computer science from The City College of New York and Nagpur University. Sekhar also has a degree from Wharton's Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program: Scaling Your Business and has done leadership training from Focus St. Louis and John Maxwell.
