Busola Ogbonna has a diverse work experience starting from 2012. Busola worked as a Lecturer (Part time) at Custom Street Associates. From there, they moved on to positions at Dynamic Portfolio Ltd and AIICO Pension Managers Limited. In 2014, they joined Kapital Care Trust & Securities Ltd as the Head of Research & Equity Trading and also worked as a Research Associate at AIICO Pension Managers Limited. Busola then worked as the Head of Fixed Income Securities Trading, Research & Strategy at CLG Securities Limited. In 2018, they joined ARM Securities Limited as the Head of Equity Trading before being promoted to Managing Director in 2019. Currently, Busola Ogbonna is the CEO, Advisory at Cedrus Group Africa.

Busola obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Lagos State University, where they studied from 1997 to 2002.
