Spence Stockbridge has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering field. Spence started their career at Northrop Grumman Corporation as a Senior Mechanical Designer, where they designed manufacturing tooling and developed machined housings and enclosures. Spence then worked at EG&G INTERTECH SUPERCONDUCTING SUPER COLLIDER LAB as a Mechanical Tool Designer, where they developed manufacturing tooling and designed test equipment. Later, they joined Teltrend Incorporated and Westell as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they developed and managed electromechanical assemblies for the telecommunications industry. Spence then moved to Andrew Corporation as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, leading projects in RF Power Amplifier business. Finally, they worked at Powell Industries Delta Unibus Division as an Engineering Manager, leading a team in designing bus duct runs for high power devices and distribution equipment. Spence is currently working as a Chief Project Engineer at CEF Industries.
Spence Stockbridge attended Morton East High School, although the specific years of attendance and any degrees obtained are unavailable. After high school, Spence went on to study at the College of DuPage from 1983 to 1990, earning an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
