Amaya J. has extensive experience in chemicals legislation, particularly in the areas of REACH and product stewardship, currently serving as a Senior Manager at Cefic since August 2011. Prior roles include serving as a REACH expert in regulatory affairs at Redebel, and managing food safety laboratories at Institut Santé Publique in Brussels. Earlier career stages involved research positions at the University of Liège, focusing on food products of animal origin and mass spectrometry. Amaya holds two Master's degrees: one in Analytical Chemistry from Université catholique de Louvain and another in Oceanography, Chemical and Physical from the University of Liège.
