Marina Videira Mendes

Marina Videira Mendes is an experienced communications professional with a focus on strategic communication and public relations. Currently serving as a Communications Advisor at Cefic since March 2016, Marina previously held roles such as Social Media Advisor at FOCUS-COMM and Communications team assistant at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy. With a background in political affairs from the Mission of Portugal to the UN and marketing expertise from positions at TeatroStageFest and Grupo PAR, Marina has also contributed to academia as a lecturer on Public Relations and Social Responsibility. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Communication and Cultural Industries from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, along with various marketing courses from institutions such as Baruch College and the School of Visual Arts.
