Valentina Carriero

Valentina Carriero is currently a Knowledge Engineer in the Knowledge Technologies Group at Cefriel since October 2023. Prior to this role, Valentina worked as a Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant, and PhD student in Computer Science at Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna from May 2019 to September 2023, focusing on ontology matching and interoperability between Knowledge Graphs for the Semantic Web. Valentina's previous experience includes a Research Assistant position at the Semantic Technology Laboratory of the Italian National Research Council (CNR), where the work centered on creating knowledge graphs in the Cultural Heritage domain, and as a Conversational Designer for chatbots at Heres. Valentina's editorial experience includes a part-time role at Società editrice il Mulino and internships focused on Linked Open Data and editorial activities. Valentina holds a Master's Degree in Italianistica and a Bachelor's Degree in Lettere from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
