Christer Nilberg has a strong background in IT and management roles. Christer started their career as a Dept. Manager and sales representative at Elkjop AS, before moving on to Teamleader at Global Office AS. Later, they joined Statoil as a Systems Administrator, responsible for managing the company's Windows-based servers. Christer then transitioned to Cegal, where they held several positions, including IT Architect, Senior IT Architect, Delivery Manager, Department Manager, Team Lead, and Lead Automation Engineer. In these roles, they focused on automation, DevOps, and Agile methodologies, and had a strong emphasis on product management and technical leadership.
Christer Nilberg attended Den Polytekniske Høyskole (DPH) from 1999 to 2000, where they pursued a degree in IT, specializing in System Analysis and Development. Prior to that, they were part of the IT Department at The Royal Norwegian Navy from 1998 to 1999, focusing on Computer Support. In 1997 and 1998, Christer was an IT Project Candidate at NæringsAkademiet. Alongside their education, Christer has obtained various certifications, including Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in 2019, ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management in 2015, and PRINCE2® Foundation Certificate in 2014, among others.
