Tim Scheurenbrand

Tim Scheurenbrand has extensive experience in the field of bioinformatics and information technology, currently serving as Director of IT at CeGaT GmbH since November 2009. In this role, Tim is a member of the executive board and oversees IT infrastructure, operations, and facility management, as well as the GCLP project team and data protection coordination. Tim has held various leadership positions within CeGaT GmbH, including Director of Central Services and Director of Bioinformatics & IT, managing teams and driving software development and data analysis efforts. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics from the University of Tübingen. Prior to joining CeGaT, Tim served as a volunteer paramedic at Johanniter Unfallhilfe e.V. during a year of social service.
