John Bailey has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. John began their career in 1990 as a Microelectronic Designer at Inmos, where they worked on various projects including the IBM PS2 'colour lookup table' (CLUT) and the porting of analog parts for NVidia chipsets. John then moved on to Magicut Software as a Visual C++ MFC Winforms Developer and later joined Marlborough Stirling as a Contract Visual C++/MFC/VB Developer.
In 1999, John joined SunGard Vivista Ltd as a Contract Visual C++/MFC Winforms Developer and worked on the NSPIS C&C - the new National Police Command and Control System. John also worked at Alterian as an R&D Developer, where they developed core products and applications using VC++6, MFC, DCOM, VB6, and VBA.
From 2003 to 2006, John was a Contract Winforms Developer at SunGard Vivista Ltd, primarily working on the National Police 'Custody' project. John then worked as a Contract Web Developer at Blue Tahiti Software in 2006, followed by a short contract at the University of the West of England in 2007.
Since 2007, John has been working at Cegedim Insurance Solutions (International Division) in various roles. John started as a Contract Web Developer and later took on the role of Principal Developer. John continues to contribute to the company's web development projects.
John Bailey attended the University of Bristol from 1985 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. In September 2006, they obtained certifications from Microsoft, including MCTS: .Net Framework 2.0, Web Applications and Microsoft Certified Professional. Additionally, in June 1988, they obtained an Honors degree in Physics from the University of Bristol.
