Marianne Barrailh

Marianne Barrailh has over 13 years of work experience in the field of Test and Validation. Marianne started their career in 2003 as an IT Engineer with CLS, where they worked in an alternating internship position until 2006. In 2006, they joined COFRAMI as a Studies Engineer before moving on to Joost, where they worked as a Test and Validation Engineer in 2007-2008. Marianne then joined APTUS as a Test and Validation Engineer from 2007 to 2008.

In 2008, Marianne joined Sierra Wireless as a QA Engineer, specializing in Test and Validation. Marianne worked in this role for nearly 8 years until 2016. In 2016, they joined Cegedim Insurance Solutions as a Scrum Master and Test Engineer. In this role, they worked as part of an 8-person agile development team on a project involving 100 people. Their responsibilities included updating acceptance criteria for user stories, automating API and UI tests, validating user stories, reporting and tracking bugs, participating in test strategy development, liaising with support, and creating technical and functional documentation and user guides. Additionally, they acted as a facilitator within the team and between teams, and was also responsible for managing daily team issues related to deployment, configuration, and Kafka.

Marianne Barrailh has a background in computer science and project management. Marianne attended the IUT informatique de gestion from 2001 to 2003, focusing on informatique de gestion. Following this, from 2003 to 2006, they attended 3iL Ingénieurs, specializing in computer science.

In addition to their formal education, Marianne has obtained several certifications. In 2013, they became a certified Testeur ISTQB at the foundation level through the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board.
