Gilles Bollen

Gilles Bollen is a seasoned professional in data protection and privacy, currently serving as the Group Data Protection and Privacy Officer and Data Protection Officer at Cegeka and Smartschool, respectively. With prior experience as a Privacy & Information Security Consultant at Infosentry NV, Gilles has contributed to enhancing privacy maturity through GDPR assessments, DPIAs, and support for DPA investigations across several Flemish government agencies. Earlier roles included business development at eProdat and data protection consulting, providing expertise in GDPR and CCPA compliance. Gilles holds multiple law degrees from KU Leuven and Hasselt University, including a Master of Laws in Advanced Intellectual Property and ICT Law.
