Nicolas Martin is an experienced professional in economic development and international relations, currently serving as Directeur territorial for Montérégie, Estrie, and Centre-du-Québec at the Ministère de l’Économie, de l’Innovation et de l’Énergie du Québec since December 2022. Martin has held various leadership roles, including Directeur régional at the Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Francisation et de l'Intégration and Directeur Bureau spécialisé des Demandeurs d'asile at the Ministère du Travail, de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale. Previous experience includes significant positions at the Délégation générale du Québec à Munich, focusing on economic services in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as roles in international business consultancy at Export Québec. Martin holds a Master’s degree in public administration from ENAP and a Bachelor’s degree in German studies from Université de Montréal, along with international education experience at the University of Graz.
