Patrick Filion

Patrick Filion is an experienced professional in machine safety and automation, currently serving as Président and Expert in machine safety at Groupe Conseil PFI since November 2010. With a focus on project management and risk analysis according to industry standards such as CSA and ISO, Patrick has developed expertise in collaborative robotics, electrical and mechanical design, and safety program implementation. As an educator at Cégep régional de Lanaudière, Patrick teaches various aspects of industrial electronics technology, including automated systems and machine safety. Previous roles include Senior Engineer at GCM Consultants inc. and Director of Machine Safety at Enico, with a background in software engineering from Logitrol and earlier positions. Patrick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Automated Production Engineering from École de technologie supérieure and has pursued additional relevant education.
